Job Summary

We are looking to recruit a Nursing Home Manager to deliver excellent Management and Nursing EMI care in the Headlands Nursing Home in Llangollen. This post if the full time on a permanent basis and salary is to be negotiated at interview with the successful candidate.

The successful candidate will be able to:
· Provide strong leadership and direction to the team and to maintain an open, positive and inclusive atmosphere for all staff
· Recruit, train and supervise staff
· Organise and chair staff/resident meetings
· Provide information, advice and support to service users and their families
· Organise activities and promote Services Users choice and independence
· Be responsible for all aspects of day to day operations
· Undertake assessments in the community, completing costings and oversee admissions
· Ensure that personalised care plans are developed, executed and evaluated for each service user
· Ensure compliance with National Minimum Standards, CIW and other statutory and relevant guidance, whilst always working towards an “outstanding” standard
· Maintain positive relationships with community service providers
· Manage staff rota and timesheets
· Be able to work under pressure and have a positive and problem-solving approach to work

Qualifications and Experience:
· Hold a valid RNM nursing pin
· Proven eligibility to work in the UK and subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check
· 3+ year proven experience at supervisory level within a nursing home having previously worked as one of the following: Home Manager, Deputy home Manager, Clinical Nurse Manager or Clinical Lead
· Full valid driving licence

Min 5 years experience preferred
